Town of Tolland, MA Planning Board Minutes
June 19, 2017
Present: Kathy Cowles, Thomas Paine, James Deming, Shawn Shaw
Meeting called to order at 7:12
Discussed appointment of Shawn Shaw to fulfill remainder of Jeff Lacasse’s term, with Jeff appointed as an alternate member. Planning Board thanked Kathy for her work as secretary over the past several years.
Discussed logistics of remote attendance by some Planning Board members, with the agreement to read the relevant language into the minutes at the July meeting.
Discussed the template marijuana dispensary bylaw from PVPC. Recommend forwarding to town counsel with Planning Board edits for review. Planning Board recommends striking language limiting installations near residential zoning districts (note that language preventing installations abutting at residential lots would remain).
At next meeting Planning Board will approve previous minutes (secretary to bring cover letter for hard signatures).
